Why Do We Speak Out?

Quixtar advocates often frown upon us that speak out against there business. They wonder why we spend so much of our time speaking out and think we should just move on. They believe we are just trying to steal there dreams. Well this is just not the case. We aren't the crab in the bucket trying to pull the other one down. The reason we speak out is when after you've seen so many people, friends, and family mentally and financially hurt because of the business that we feel we need to do something to stop this. Could you honestly sit back and do nothing when you see your best friends life get tore down as I have watched happen to my best friend. The group we were in didn't teach him to only spend what he could. No they taught him to spend everything he had, to not pay his bills to get to that next seminar. They told him not to worry that he wasn't getting any results yet that they will come. And what happened is that eventually he had no money left. This brought his self esteem and everything to rock bottom. Then I look around and see that my friend isn't the only one that this is happening to. Its happening to a majority of the people I knew in the business. Now can you honestly say that I should just turn my head and pretend that there is nothing wrong and just move on? The founding fathers of the United States gave us the right of free speaks for situations like this. That way even the little guy can have a way to stand up for himself.

Well said. I have long believed that Quixtar/Amway has had a closed market in the promotion of their business. They, in the past, controlled what information was circulated and they were able to spin the negative comments to their liking. Now the playing field is becoming more even thanks to the internet. The truth is being told and they are getting more and more frustrated. The AQMO's no longer have the victims they once did. People are more informed today. I feel it is important to share my experiences in that business. In the long run, if Quixtar is to survive, our speaking out will only help it to become better. If they intend for it to continue to be a scam, then I intend to light the match to watch it go up in flames. (Figuratively speaking, of course.)
