Wall Street

I just got done watching the movie Wall Street. Most likely youve at least heard of it. Its an older movie made in the eighties. It stars Charlie Sheen and Micheal Douglas, big stars for the time. Even though the movie is like almost like 20 yrs old, most of the themes in it still ring true today. The movie is basically about greed. People will do anything to make more and more money. Even when they dont need anymore. I liked the quote in the movie. "Money makes you do things you dont want to do". And Lastly I think the most important thing said in the movie is when the father says to his son "you need to stop living off the buying and selling of other peoples money and create something". I personally feel alot more satisfied when ive created something then when ive just copied something. If you get the chance and have never seen this movie I highly recomend it.

Tapes! Tapes! Tapes!

The other day my friend was going through his tape collection to find a couple of tapes to give to a downline. So I decided I should look at my collection. I hadnt really looked at in a while. Holly cow was i surprised. I have like hundreds of tapes. Thats ridiculas. Do I really need that many tapes. I get three of the damn things every week. I really wouldnt mind them to much if i was learning something new on each of them or something but im not. Its the same damn thing practically on every tape. Somehow i dont think Bill Gates or Sam Walton listened to this many tapes to create there fortune. But i could be wrong. I guess im just ranting. Its just disturbing to me to realize how much money i wasted on buying the same information.

Wanting To Belong.

I really think the reason why so many people at least give MLM a try is because it makes them feel like they belong to something again. Just like people felt about there old High Schools and Colleges. Once we all join the work force most of us really dont feel that same connection with are jobs and our coworkers as we did at school. Most people want to belong to something they can be proud of again. And most MLM's provide this again. I have to admit that was a big draw for me to my MLM company. Since i graduated I didnt have to many friends left and i really just wanted to belong to something again. And when my friend presented it to me i couldnt resist. Not that there anything wrong with this and i believe it to be a requirement. But i have found in my MLM that most of the relationships and comrodary i thought existed to be mostly superficial. Its all just for show for the new person. In reality everybody is bickering about this person or that team. It doesnt feel like were one big team that we can be proud of.
